Gone but not Forgotten

On July 2007 a beautiful American Eskimo named Sophie went to the heavens. Sophie had a very sad beginning to her life at the hands of her first owner and his abuse. Thankfully she was rescued by a caring lady named Sharone who treated her how she deserved,  like gold til the end. I have not met a dog with a more sweet nature than Sophie after going through such a rough start to life. She was brave, devoted to Sharone and easy to please. I remember what a protector Sophie was and how she gave her heart to everyone.  She is  missed very much to this day and thought of often.

On July  30 2008 the very sweet Quincy passed away suddenly from a tumor on his spleen. The lovable boy with a constant limp was as sweet and fun as they come. Even with his limp he could out run most other dogs and he had a wonderful enthusiasm and love for life that cannot be taught. I know if Quincy were a person he would of never complained about anything in life. He will be sorely missed by the many people he met along the trails.

On Friday Feb 6/2010 Joey the loved Irish Setter died suddenly from cancer. Joey touched a lot of people in his short time on earth. He would often run up to complete strangers like they were long lost friends and say hello. Joey was a "leaner".... he loved to lean on people with his large frame for cuddles. Joey was a older dog when I started walking him but he was very young at heart. There were many times I thought of him as a person because he seemed so wise and complete. I have never had so many complete strangers fall in love with a dog in such a short time.  He will be greatly missed by many

Sadly one of the most popular dogs that I walk was put to rest on Monday Aug 23 2010. Steele was a handsome Black lab in his senior years but with the energy and playfulness of a much younger dog. He was the life of the party on the morning walks and very much a character. What a amazing smile he had and way of making people laugh.  He will not be forgotten.

On August 15/2010 my pal and best friend Joey was put to rest suddenly due to cancer. Joey was 13 and a half and completely blind but the sweetest dog you will ever meet. Joey was a snuggler and lived his life to the fullest. He did not let being blind prevent him from his favorite activities such as swimming, walking and enjoying car rides.  Some of Joeys favorite things were aged white cheddar, stealing socks, and flirting with cute girl dogs. Not a day goes by that he isnt thought of and remembered with love

On Friday Oct 20 14 year old Keeta was put to sleep. Keeta I had walked  with the groups longer than any other dog. She was a very good squirrel hunter and loved to frisk it up with the boys even during her last week. She was very much a princess and loved attention from everyone and it showed with her pretty smile. Keeta was the heart of the afternoon group and will be very much missed. She will not be forgotten.
