On July 2007 a beautiful American Eskimo named Sophie went to the heavens. Sophie had a very sad beginning to her life at the hands of her first owner and his abuse. Sophie was rescued by a caring lady named Sharone who treated her how she deserved, like gold. I have not met a dog with a more sweet nature than Sophie after going through such a rough start to life. She was brave, devoted to Sharone and easy to please. I remember what a protector Sophie was and how she gave her heart to everyone. She is missed very much to this day and thought of often.

On July 30 2008 the very sweet Quincy passed away suddenly from a tumor on his spleen. The lovable boy with a constant limp was as sweet and fun as they come. Even with his limp he could out run most other dogs and he had a wonderful enthusiasm and love for life that cannot be taught. I know if Quincy were a person he would of never complained about anything in life. He will be sorely missed by the many people he met along the trails.

August 2010 saw the passing of senior black lab Steele. He was in his senior years but with the energy and playfulness of a puppy. He was the life of the party on the morning walks and very much a character. What a amazing smile he had and way of making people laugh. He will not be forgotten.

| On Friday Feb 6/2010 Joey the loved Irish Setter died suddenly from cancer. Joey touched a lot of people in his short time on earth. He would often run up to complete strangers like they were long lost friends and say hello. Joey was a "leaner".... he loved to lean on people with his large frame for cuddles. Joey was a older dog when I started walking him but he was very young at heart. There were many times I thought of him as a person because he seemed so wise and complete. I have never had so many complete strangers fall in love with a dog in such a short time. He will be greatly missed by many

On August 15/2010 my pal and best friend Joey was put to rest suddenly due to cancer. Joey was 13 and a half and completely blind but the sweetest dog you will ever meet. Joey was a snuggler and lived his life to the fullest. He did not let being blind prevent him from his favorite activities such as swimming, walking and enjoying car rides. Some ofJoeys favorite things were aged white cheddar, stealing socks, and flirting with cute girl dogs. Not a day goes by that he isnt thought of and remembered with love

On Friday Oct 20 14 year old Keeta was put to sleep. Keeta I had walked with the groups longer than any other dog.She was a very good squirrel hunter and loved to frisk it up with the boys even during her last week. She was verymuch a princess and loved attention from everyone and it showed with her pretty smile. Keeta was the heart of the afternoon group and will be very much missed. She will not be forgotten. A special thanks the Keetas family for inviting me to say goodbye to her the day she was put to sleep.

On 7/10/11 the Happy Days group said goodbye to one of the sweetest dogs Ive come across Teddy. Teddy was a very special guy and had a Elvis like status with the number of people that loved him and thought so highly of him. If there was a award given by his dog friends as most respected it would go paws down to Teddy. A special thank you to Pam and Margo who invited me to their home the morning Ted was put to sleep. I feel fortunate I was able to spend some time with him before saying goodbye.

On January 16/2013 Flash a senior jack russel was put to sleep. Flash was one of my very favorite dogs that had been with the groups for many years. Flash was always up for a intense game of fetch and he played better than anyone. Never missed catching a ball and lightning speed in his younger years. He had a special relationship with all Canada Post workers and displayed it often with his animated barking at them! Flash will be remember for his excellent fetch skills, his devotion to his mom Irene and his very intense stare when waiting for a cookie or ball! He will not be forgotten
